Hello watchers!

I'm excited to share with you that I might be getting published in a magazine soon! It's called Velvet Poets Magazine. This will be their first issue and I hope I get accepted. I also applied to be an editor, so we'll see where that goes!

I've submitted the following deviations to them for publication. Wish me luck!

I just thought of a neat concept called "Short Story February."

It's essentially writing one short story a day for the shortest month of the year.

What do you think?

2024 is looking like a good writing year so far. I'm looking forward to whatever it may bring.

if i could describe my year. i would say that it was a rough one.

my daryl died in january, and zina passed away last week.

in between that i got new management, so i switched to a new store.

i was working at least 95hrs per paycheck. i was even up for a promotion.

and then they won't promote me because i don't have a car.

still no raise. can't find a new job. in january it will have been two years since my last pay raise.

i extended my graduation by a semester because i dropped two classes this semester. i was drowning. i still kind of am.

here's to hoping 2024 will be better.
