Maple Baby (CanadaxReader)

Okay so this is the first request out of 20 I have! This one is for ! I hope you like it!

The country of Canada, often know as Matthew Williams, was cooking maple cookies on a cool autumn evening. Now why was he doing such a thing? Well, it was for his wife, ____________ Williams, who was also known as ( c/n ). At this time, _________ was 5 months pregnant with their first child. Lately, she had been getting cravings for maple tasting foods, such as the cookies. A angelic voice rang from the couple's family room.
"Mattie, are they done yet?"
"Non, ma cherie. J-Just a few more m-minutes.."
Matthew smiles. He loved his wife with all his heart and was very excited for their new baby. Of course, he was also worried as well. He knew countries couldn't die but, what if something happens to the baby? Or even worse, both of them. However, he was snapped from his thoughts when he heard a timer go off. Matthew quickly took the cookies from the oven.
"Perfect.."
Suddenly, Mattie heard a "squee" and chuckles. His wife has obviously heard the timer as well. He then heard footsteps behind him and turns around to see his barren wife waddling into their humble kitchen. Matthew sets the plate in front of his wife, who had taken a seat at their maple wood table. He smiles but then furrows his brow as he sees his wife's arms crossed against her growing chest.
"O-Oui mon cher. I-Is s-something w-wrong?"
The Canadian stutters more than he usually would. He prayed that she was not in one of her mood swings. The last time that happened, he landed his bottom in France's house in a maid's outfit. NEVER AGAIN did he want that to happen.
"Maple. Syrup."
___________ had a childish pout on her face. Maple syrup is what she was eating on everything these days. On bagels, on tacos, fruits, hamburgers. She ate it on anything she could eat! Matthew sighs in relief and goes up in the top cabinet. He grabbed a new bottle of 100% all Canadian maple syrup. Matthew opened it and put it on the table. __________ squeals in glee and pours a giant puddle of the syrup on a portion of her plate that was cleared off specially for it. As soon as she thought she had enough, she stopped with the syrup and started dipping her husband's home made cookies in it.
"So how are they? Do you like them?"
Matthew chuckles at his wife. she looked quite childish at the moment. Currently, she was stuffing her face with the syrupy goodness in what was called Canadian syrup.
"Wike dem? I wuv dem! Dey tashe nummy!"
Mattie sighs with a lop sided smile and he smiles at her syrup covered mouth and chin.
"Good. That's just what I wanted to hear.."

1 hour ago, Matthew and ____________ arrived at the hospital. 4 months had flown by quickly and soon the female country's water broke. At the moment, __________ was laying in a hospital bed and gown. She was squeezing her husband's hand at yet another contraction. She had not dialated yet and so she had to put up with the painful contractions until she was dialated. ___________ let out a cry of pain at this one contraction.
"M-Mattie! I-It hurts s-so much.."
The female country whimpers and sheds a few tears. Matthew wipes them away with his other hand and kisses her brow lovingly.
"I know it does, maple leaf. J-Just save y-your energy for w-when you go i-into labor."
Suddenly, a doctor and four nurses walk in. The doctor looks and checks to see if everthing was in order. He sat in a rolling stool.
"All right Mrs. Williams, you're fully dialated, You may p-"
However, the doc was cut off with an ear bleeding scream. _______ pushed hard, she didn't need to be told twice. She was in a lot of pain and wanted this baby out of her ASAP. ___________ had squeezed Matthew's hand and he swore he heard a cracking noise.
"Good job, Mrs. Williams! Keep going and I want you to hold it for 10 seconds!"
She did was she was told and continued on with the tortuous pain in what was called child birth.

~=~ An hour and a surgery later ~=~

__________ laid in the hospital bed holding a baby girl securely in her arms. Her husband walks in with a cast on his hand. The new born mother blushed to a pink and looked up into his eyes.
"I'm sorry I broke your hand, Mattie. I feel bad now.."
Matthew smiles and kisses his wife. He knew she didn't mean to.
"I-It's okay. You were in a lot of pain. I'm just thankful that you and the baby are A okay."
Said baby opens her eyes. They were a violet color like her father's. However, she looked just like her mother with the ( h/c ) hair.
"She's beautiful. Just like her mother.."
"Oh stop it, you."
The new parents chuckle. They loved each other with all their hearts and both loved their child with just as much love as they do for one another.

~=~ In the Williams' house hold :3 ~=~

Matthew assits his wife and child into their home. Their child, whom they named ( g/n ) was fast asleep in her mother's arms. The parents climb up the stair case and into the new born's room, which was covered in blues, greens, yellows, reds, pinks and purples. Gently, _________ set the baby down in her bed. The new mother then wrapped her arms around her husband's neck. Matthew lifts up his wife and carries her to their bedroom, weary of her aching body. He tucks her in and kisses her forehead. She had fallen asleep so he went back into the baby's nursery. ( g/n ) was now awake. She didn't do anything but stare up at her father, violet meeting violet. Matthew smiles down at his new daughter. He kisses her forehead and automatically, she falls asleep.
"Good night my little maple baby.."
