Woe: A Writer's Friend
From Poe to Fitzgerald to myself,
we all seem to have one thing in common;
though, unfortunately, 'tis not our success.
No; what we share is far deeper.
The fact of the matter is this:
we share woe.
Woe, how so?
Well, just think:
Poe used his insanity and anguish as a muse,
Fitzgerald used fiction to tell of his life's greatest demise,
and I use woe to string words with emotions.
In a sense, we are all alike as writers:
using life's unfortunate mishaps to better our souls.

Such a thought after observing Poe, Fitzgerald and myself
